Mike's Harley-Davidson at Brock Monument

I Am Niagara Biker

My name is Mike McAllister, and I am Niagara Biker.

I've lived in the picturesque and historic Niagara Region — the Canadian side, for those who need that information — my entire life. Grew up here, went to school here, played here, worked here, raised a family here, and now I'm retired.

I've enjoyed a great career, but the history nerd in me can't stop reading everything in my path about Niagara. I'm a licensed tour guide with the Niagara Parks Commission, and I'm excited to share what I've learned with fellow riders.

Niagara has a diverse history — Indigenous peoples who used these trails for thousands of years, the War of 1812, slavery and the Underground Railroad, shipping, pioneering women, and more. Let me show you the stories these roads can tell.

The History Nerd

My passion for local history runs deep. You might catch me in period costume at one of our historic forts, helping bring the past to life for visitors.

But on our tours, I bring that same enthusiasm to the stories behind the landscapes we ride through. Every road has a history. Every building has a story. And I know most of them.

Whether you're a history buff yourself or just curious about what makes this region special, I'll share the tales that make Niagara more than just a destination — it's living history.

How We Ride

01

Safety First

Every tour begins with a 9:30 AM safety briefing at the St. Catharines Husky Travel Center. We review hand signals, riding formation, and establish comfort levels before we hit the road.

02

Small Groups

Tours are limited to a maximum of 4 riders — or just 2 if you're less experienced. This ensures personalized attention and a safer ride for everyone.

03

Your Pace

We're here to enjoy the ride, not race. I adapt to your comfort level and experience. If you need a break, we take a break.

04

The Experience

It's not just about getting from A to B. We stop at viewpoints, historic markers, and interesting spots. This is about discovery, not miles.
